J The Senior Connection
Women’s Workforce WEB recognizes that because of today's economy and the changing family structure, seniors need job training. We have offered seniors the opportunity to obtain job training that assists underachieving children. Research shows that incarceration, gang membership, crime rates and drop out rates are highest among students who experienced academic challenges. Women’s Workforce WEB is offering several workshops to prevent these challenges.
Women’s Workforce WEB has partnered with the Senior Community. This partnership provided opportunities for economically challenged women age 55 and older to continue to learn, benefit, and give back to the community.
The Teacher Assistant Training Program places Seniors in a public school classroom or day care center to provide additional help while receiving job training.
